Why does the type of project change the marketing plan?
Because the buyer is different in each case, and running the same trending-and-KOL template on a DeFi protocol that you would run on a memecoin usually wastes budget on the wrong audience.
A memecoin buyer is on a DEX terminal deciding in seconds; a DeFi prospect is comparing audited protocols and TVL before depositing; an NFT collector follows specific marketplaces and creator accounts; a GameFi player cares about gameplay content more than price charts; an AI agent token's audience overlaps with the AI builder community as much as with crypto traders.
We keep the execution layer shared — the same trending, listing, KOL and PR services power every category — but the channel mix, creator pool, messaging and pacing are set per project type. A discovery call places your project in the right category (or a mix of two) before any plan is written, so budget goes toward the platforms and creators your actual buyers follow.
Which categories are covered, and what does each one prioritize?
Sixteen categories cover most of the Web3 landscape we work in, each with a different primary channel.
| Category | Primary channel focus |
|---|---|
| Memecoin | DEX terminal trending, X, Telegram |
| DeFi | Technical content, audits, DeFi-native KOLs |
| NFT | Marketplace visibility, creator and collector KOLs |
| GameFi | Gameplay content, streamers, Discord community |
| AI agents | AI and crypto crossover KOLs, technical PR |
| DePIN | Infrastructure-focused PR, technical explainer content |
| RWA | Institutional-facing PR, compliance-aware messaging |
| Exchange | Paid traffic, affiliate and referral-style content |
| Wallet | App-store visibility, tutorial content, security messaging |
| Layer 1 / Layer 2 | Developer relations, ecosystem PR |
DAO, launchpad, trading bot, SocialFi, Telegram mini app and payments and fintech projects each get their own page with the same treatment.
How do you decide the channel mix for a specific project?
We start from your current state, not a fixed formula: existing listings, community size, chain, launch stage and budget all shape which categories and channels get weighted first.
The discovery process covers: which category (or blend) best describes the project; current listing and verification status; community size and where it is concentrated; whether the project is pre-launch, at TGE, or already trading; and budget range. From that we return a written plan naming the specific platforms, creator tiers and formats for your category, with pricing confirmed before work starts.
Most engagements start with one or two service lines rather than the full category playbook at once, then expand once the first campaign is reporting cleanly. See How we work for the full process and Pricing for rate cards across every service.
What does a category playbook not solve on its own?
Marketing does not substitute for product fundamentals, and no category playbook can manufacture demand for a project without a working product, audited contracts where relevant, or a coherent narrative.
What we are candid about: a DeFi protocol with unaudited contracts will struggle regardless of PR quality, since trust-building content cannot replace an actual audit; an exchange or wallet competing purely on paid traffic without retention mechanics will see costs rise over time; a GameFi project without playable content has little for streamers to cover. We flag these gaps in the discovery call rather than taking budget for a campaign we do not think will land.
Where marketing does help across every category: getting a real product or token in front of the right audience faster, and keeping it visible once it is there. See Case studies for how this has played out across categories, and FAQ for common questions.

Frequently asked questions
How do I know which solution category fits my project?
Most projects fit clearly into one category — memecoin, DeFi, NFT, GameFi and so on — based on what the token or protocol actually does. Projects that blend two categories, such as an AI agent token with a memecoin-style launch, get a blended plan rather than being forced into one page. A discovery call places your project correctly before any plan is written.
Do memecoin and DeFi marketing cost the same?
Pricing is set by the services booked, not the category itself, so a memecoin trending push and a DeFi PR campaign are priced on their own scope. Services generally start from $2,190 / 24 h for a single trending placement, with bundles from $1,890 / campaign; exact pricing depends on platforms, duration and current listing status.
Can you run a campaign across two categories at once, like DeFi and RWA?
Yes. Many projects sit between categories, and the plan is built as a blend rather than forcing a choice. We name which channels come from each category's typical mix and sequence them so budget is not duplicated across overlapping audiences.
Do you work with exchanges and wallets, not just tokens?
Yes, exchange and wallet marketing are their own categories, weighted toward advertising, referral-style content and app-store visibility rather than trending and KOL work, since the goal is installs or sign-ups rather than a single launch event.
What if my project is pre-launch and doesn't fit a category yet?
Pre-launch projects are common, and the category still applies: it shapes what the go-to-market plan prioritizes even before a token exists. See Token launch and growth for launch-specific bundles that combine with a category playbook once the launch date is set.
Is AI agent or AI token marketing different from general crypto marketing?
Yes. AI agent and AI token projects often reach an audience that overlaps with the AI builder community as much as with crypto traders, so the KOL pool and technical PR angle differ from a standard token launch, even when the underlying services, trending, listings, community, stay the same.
